Hitomi, in Cel-Shaded Serenity

Hot-damn, I love my new Graphics tablet! This is the first thing I've posted, in which it was used, but without it, this Cel-Shaded pic would simply not be possible. Or it would look alot crappier.

This is my first ever finished Cel-Shade, due to the fact that I've simply never been able to pull off the technique, until now. Hitomi, once again, looking rather content this time, perhaps even a little melancholy. Maybe she just lost a match.

I don't like to blow my own trumpet, nor do I like people who do, but I'm really pleased with how it came out. One of my best works yet, definately. Took absolutely ages, but well worth it in the end. I'm really chuffed with her pose and colouring, although I may add a bit more of the darker skin-tone, in places. Her top could use a few more dark bits too. Kez said her boobs look a bit low, but I dunno, I kinda like em there.

This pic is also going in my portfolio for my University interview this Friday. Infact, that was its main purpose to begin with, really. I'm probably too lazy to produce something like this, just for the hell of it.

Hitomi is from the Dead or Alive series, by Tecmo, if you didn't know. This pic was done 100% digitally, in Photoshop 7, and with my Wacom 3 (which is pure ownage).
